PROCESS
Instead of using the condensed molding method, Hankook Latex incorporates a free fall method to its' production of latex tubing. There are a total of 72 lines of production.
The production tank uniformly controls the falling rate of the latex tubing. The speed of the latex compound, height, and water temperature all contribute to the consistency of the latex tubing.
Latex and other chemicals are mixed in a ball mill.
At a specific temperature and time, chemicals and other ingredients are mixed together in the mixer.
The mixed compound is put into the production tank at specific temperature.
The integrated glass piece is filled with latex, creating the customized product.
The manufactured product is leached in the water for a certain amount of time.
After the leaching process, the latex tubing is put into the drying room to remove all water and moisture.
After the drying phase, the latex tubing is cut and then packed.
The vacuum type products also undergo a chemical process during the the drying phase.
